Carol Sowers has combined her decades of on-camera experience as a television news anchor with her years of communications training for advocates to help attorneys develop and fine-tune their remote advocacy skills. Since March 2020, Carol has presented numerous webinars and podcasts and coached more than 100 attorneys individually on how best to present themselves and their cases in the virtual courtroom.
Carol spent 30 years in broadcast journalism as an anchor, reporter, producer and executive. After retiring from her TV career, she began training attorneys in communication skills and presentation style across the country and around the world, including Austria, Myanmar, Northern Ireland, Tanzania and Tasmania. She was the co-recipient of the first-ever Leadership Service Award from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy for “creation and launch of remote advocacy courses.”
