Carol Bauss, J.D. is a Senior Litigation Consultant at NJP Litigation Consulting/West since 1992, working on cases around the country ranging from personal injury, employment discrimination, and civil rights, to white collar criminal and commercial cases. Her deep knowledge of juror attitudes and jury decision-making is drawn from her years of experience conducting focus groups, mock trials and post-verdict juror interviews. She draws on her expertise in juror attitudes to help legal teams find the human story and universal themes within complex legal disputes. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Trial Consultants.
Founded in the late 1940s and incorporated in 1976, the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ) is headquartered in Trenton, New Jersey. NJAJ is a statewide association of over 2,700 members in private practice and public service, paralegals, law clerks, law students and law school graduates not yet admitted to the bar. NJAJ is dedicated to protecting New Jersey’s families by working to preserve and strengthen the laws for safer products and workplaces, a cleaner environment and quality health care.
