After graduating with a B.A. from Rutgers University, Ms. Hamilton received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, where she completed 4 legal internships, for the Honorable Joseph A. Greenaway, Jr., U.S.C.A.J. 3d Cir., then U.S.D.C., D.N.J, with two private law firms, and the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office. She also participated in the Northeastern University Prisoner’s Rights Clinic. After graduation, Ms. Hamilton became a qualified civil and family law mediator.
Ms. Hamilton has made appearances in State and Federal Courts in New Jersey and Florida, successfully trying cases, arguing motions and negotiating settlements. In her spare time, Ms. Hamilton has been a frequent volunteer mediator in Sussex County Superior Court. She enjoys music and theater and can’t wait to participate in her second NJVLA Celebration of Lawyers in the Arts performance.
Founded in the late 1940s and incorporated in 1976, the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ) is headquartered in Trenton, New Jersey. NJAJ is a statewide association of over 2,700 members in private practice and public service, paralegals, law clerks, law students and law school graduates not yet admitted to the bar. NJAJ is dedicated to protecting New Jersey’s families by working to preserve and strengthen the laws for safer products and workplaces, a cleaner environment and quality health care.
