Jay joined Morgan & Morgan in July 2014 and is the managing partner of the firm's Louisville office. Before joining the firm, Jay worked at two well-known and respected personal injury law firms, where he was a partner at both firms. He has received Martindale-Hubbell's esteemed "AV" rating, which recognizes lawyers with the highest ethical standards and professional ability. Since 2013, he has been named to the Kentucky Super Lawyers, which recognizes no more than 5% of attorneys in Kentucky. Jay has tried numerous cases ranging from automobile collision cases to multi-week nursing home neglect cases. He is asked to speak both locally and nationally to other lawyers on a variety of legal topics as he is very active in Kentucky Justice Association and American Association for Justice, serving on the Board for both trial organizations.
Jay focuses his practice on personal injury, automobile and large truck collisions, wrongful death and nursing home neglect cases.
Founded in the late 1940s and incorporated in 1976, the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ) is headquartered in Trenton, New Jersey. NJAJ is a statewide association of over 2,700 members in private practice and public service, paralegals, law clerks, law students and law school graduates not yet admitted to the bar.
