Uber-supported proposed legislation would reduce mandatory Underinsured/Uninsured Motorist (UM/UIM) coverage for Transportation Network Companies from the current $1,500,000 per accident to the state minimum of just $35,000. This drastic reduction would severely weaken protections for passengers, drivers, and anyone injured in rideshare-related crashes.
To ensure every NJAJ member understands what this legislation does, why it matters, and how to discuss it confidently and accurately, NJAJ is hosting a series of Legislative Update Meetings.
These meetings are only open to Regular members of NJAJ.
